Oliver Dix
PGA Assistant ProfessionalI first started playing golf at the age of 10, looking back on it now I wish I had started at the age of 2. I attended junior classes at a golf academy in my hometown of Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, where I instantly fell in love with the game, also under the guidance of my dad. Throughout my junior days I played at various clubs such as Gaudet Luce, Droitwich and also Kings Norton. In 2021, I began the PGA degree at the University of Birmingham whilst being an Assistant Professional at Kings Norton GC. This is where I started to develop my passion of both coaching and playing tournament golf. Since joining the Professional Team at Beau Desert GC, I am delighted to now be a fully qualified PGA Professional. Coaching and helping fellow golfers improve their game in lessons is a real passion of mine, as well as helping all members and visitors feel welcome to the club. I still enjoy playing in local and national PGA tournaments also. I am delighted to have joined the Professional Team at Beau Desert and cannot wait to work alongside, Chris, Ant and Luke.
