Beau Desert Stag Round 1 Rules

TERMS OF THE COMPETITION INCLUDING TEMPORARY LOCAL RULES
ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must have an England Golf Membership ID and be a current member of a Golf Club. IGolf Handicap holders can play but are not eligible for prize money or titles. Maximum 66 players with a ballot for places based on the lowest handicap if oversubscribed
FORMAT: 36 Hole Medal Scratch Competition
TEES: Jubilee Distance Markers.
PLAY OFF: In the event of a tie a play off will be payed on the day over holes 1,2,3,17 and 18. If competitors are still tied the play off will be sudden death over the listed holes.
COMPETITION FINAL: A Stroke Play Competition becomes final when competition is “Finalised”.
BAD WEATHER: When there has been a course closure and there is no prospect of resumption of play, if 50% or over of the field have submitted a scorecard for round 1, the competition stands, players who have not completed 18 holes will be refunded. Whilst making every effort to ensure the competition is played over 36 Holes in the event of a serious weather delay the competition will be run over 18 holes.
RULES DISPUTES/ENQUIRIES: To be referred to the Referee (Professional Shop) or the Committee.
TEMPORARY LOCAL RULES
Buggies: A player or the players caddie must not ride on any form of motorized transportation unless they have, prior to the competition filed a valid medical certificate with the Committee.
