Mixed Greensomes Open Results:
79 Pairs competed in the Beau Desert Mixed Greensomes Open held at the Club on the May Day Bank Holiday. In what can only be described as 'blustery conditions' the already very dry and fast running course proved a demanding handful for all of the competitors as they struggled to come to terms with the pace of the greens.
If anything the early and late start times looked favourite with the strength of the wind certainly less than the middle of the day and this proved to be the case with the eventual winners, Nicola and Ian Lockley (Beau Desert) starting at 8.40am and the runners up, Pamela and Nigel Saunders (Whittington Heath) being the last pair out at 3.00pm.
